Our Story
In 2019, a dedicated group of carpenters united in the picturesque countryside of Yieldshields, Carluke, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The fusion of ambition, innovation, and a passion for leisure led to the creation of BaltoScandia Sauna & Spa Ltd.

FSC forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability. FSC-certified forests are managed to strict environmental, social and economic standards. There are ten principles that any forest operation must adhere to before it can receive FSC forest management certification. These principles cover a broad range of issues, from maintaining high conservation values to community relations and workers’ rights, as well as monitoring the environmental and social impacts of the forest management.

Our timber products are sourced from trees that possess unique characteristics and values, ensuring high-quality materials for various applications. Each tree is meticulously felled and milled, with a commitment to maximizing its potential while minimising waste.
In our sustainable approach, every part of the tree is utilised, including the sawdust, which is compressed into pellets for our workshop biomass heating system, exemplifying our dedication to environmental responsibility and efficiency.
